We are looking for an experienced full-time WELDING ENGINEER (m/f/d) to join our service team as soon as possible. Kreitz Welding & Engineering not only provides its customers with welding advice, NDT service and on-site training, but also manages and optimizes projects in the automotive, pressure equipment, piping and steel construction industry. We support renowned customers both in Germany and abroad with the latest testing technology, extensive professional expertise and excellent service.
Your role:
As a welding engineer, you supervise projects in the steel construction sector within Germany and neighboring countries in a customer-oriented manner. A high willingness to travel is therefore required. With your technical expertise and efficient communication skills, you proactively support our customers at the production and management level and supervise production processes independently.
As an external welding supervisor in accordance with ISO 14731, you accompany customers both in an advisory and practical capacity in the successful certification of DIN EN 1090 by drawing up welding procedure specifications and welding sequence diagrams, developing new welding procedure qualifications and taking on the inspection, adaptation and expansion of welder qualifications.
Your profile:
- Qualified Welding Engineer
- Qualification for external welding supervision in accordance with DIN ISO 14731
- Proficient in common arc and resistance welding processes
- Extensive experience in steel construction
- Sound knowledge of process optimization of manual, partially mechanized and fully automated welding processes
- Valid driving licence, willingness to travel
- Proficiency in English, ideally additional language skills in Slovak, Czech or Polish
- Additional training in the field of NDT desirable
